Optimizing Your Visit

BOTOX®/DYSPORT®

BOTOX® and Dysport® are both non-invasive procedures, which means there is no required downtime after receiving treatments. Following your quick in-office visit, you are able to return to your daily activities. For best results, please avoid vigorous exercise and massages for up to 24 hours after your treatment.

You can begin to gradually notice results from BOTOX® within 3-14 days. Results can begin to steadily wear off after about 3-4 months following treatment. If you are in need of a follow-up, please allow two full weeks for the treatment to take full effect.

To maintain your smooth and younger-looking skin from BOTOX®, additional injections are suggested 3-4 months later in order to maintain optimal results. If you experience symptoms associated with abnormal pain, swelling, numbness or fever, don’t hesitate to contact our office.

For optimal results and safety, your skin needs to be in the most natural state possible. In order to achieve this, 4 weeks prior to your appointment, avoid sun exposure, tanning beds, and all tanning lotions.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

BBL™ is a non-invasive, photo rejuvenation treatment that requires little to no downtime. Following your session, your face may appear red or flushed, however this usually fades within a few hours. You may also notice some minor swelling, but this too should quickly subside. If you have prominent pigmentation, you may notice that brown areas become temporarily darker, and peel off within 10-14 days.

POST CARE:

For best results, 72 hours following your session, avoid anything that could create heat within the skin tissue. This includes exercise, alcohol, spicy food, hot showers & baths. Following your treatment, an ice pack may be applied to the treated area if desired.

HALO™ TREATMENT

PRE HALO™ TREATMENT:

POST HALO™ CARE:

After your HALO™ treatment, it is normal and expected for your skin to feel hot and inflamed, usually increasing throughout the first day. Swelling is common and expected, especially one day post treatment. You will begin to notice rough dark brown dots coming to the surface of the skin called MENDS (Microscopic Epidermal Necrotic Debris). These areas contain dead skin cells and pigment rising to the surface and sloughing off. While the MENDS are healing, your skin may feel like sandpaper and may be itchy. The whole process takes 5-7 days to heal. Here are a few post care instructions:
